I came to Honoring My Temple class determined to lose 100 pounds to improve my physical condition. Suffering from Severe Spinal Stenosis, there were days when walking was difficult and standing up straight was impossible. The more I traveled the Remarkable Journey, the more God committed me in other areas. I came to change how I looked on the outside, but God came to change me from the inside out. God changed my “stinking thinking” by renewing my mind. He changed my "critical spirit" by creating in me a clean heart and my "killer tongue" by allowing me to speak life. Now I desire to truly let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to God. God showed me that I was weighed down by things that were far more damaging then pounds could ever be. God taught me to Honor My Temple, by learning first to honor Him.
